OEM & private label

Your brand on our appliances.

Private label and OEM are a large part of what Lexical does: your name and mark on the appliance, its rating label, its manual and its retail box, built for the market you sell into, from the lines in our catalogue.

A branded order changes four things: the logo on the product, the manual and labels, the product colour, and the colour box and packaging. The artwork is set out with you before the run, and a branded order takes around thirty-five days of production once the deposit is paid and the artwork is confirmed.

What you can change

Four things carry your brand.

The logo on the product

Your name and mark on the appliance itself, in place of ours.

The manual and the labels

Your user manual, and your name and mark on the rating label. The electrical figures on the label stay the ones the appliance was built and tested to, for the market you named.

The product colour

A colour of your choice. A colour we do not hold in stock is made to order, and goods made to order need thirty to forty days of production; your quotation states the lead time for your order.

The colour box and the packaging

Your own retail box and packaging, built for the market you sell into, with your name and mark on the carton.

The plug and the voltage are specified for your market as well: say the country and the desk specifies the voltage, plug and packaging for it. Voltage and plug type by country shows what each market runs.

How a branded order runs

From the catalogue to your container.

  1. Choose the lines

Start from the catalogue. Every published line carries its carton specification, gross weight and CBM, so you can plan a container before you ask for a price.

  2. Send an own-brand enquiry

Pick “Own brand” on the enquiry form and say which lines you are looking at. It takes your logo file, and a note of your brand name, packaging, colours and any certification you need. If uploads are off, email the logo to the desk.

  3. Receive the proforma invoice

The export desk comes back with a proforma invoice: the price per unit, the minimum quantity per line and the incoterm quoted, as soon as possible, typically within a week.

  4. Set out the artwork

The packaging designs, the logo and the label are set out with you before the run, and production is counted from the day that artwork is confirmed.

  5. Production

Around thirty-five days of production on average, counted from the day the deposit is paid and the artwork is confirmed. Not the week a stock order takes.

  6. Shipping and the papers

The order ships from Ningbo with the export papers, and each model's EU Declaration of Conformity and the test reports behind it travel with the goods. How an order runs has every step.

Good to know

Before you put your name on it.

Under your name, you are the manufacturer

Where an appliance is sold under your name, the directives treat you as its manufacturer. We supply the declaration and the reports that sit behind it, so that file is yours to hold, complete.

The warranty is agreed per contract

On an OEM or private-label order the term is agreed per contract rather than the line's standard figure. It depends on the category, the market and what is built to your specification.

Every price is a quotation

Prices are not published. The price per unit and the minimum quantity per line are on your proforma invoice.

Your brand

Start with the lines you have in mind.

Send an own-brand enquiry with your logo and the lines you are looking at, and the export desk answers with a proforma invoice.
